alt tag text for images?

I try my best to always include alt tag descriptions for my photos and any animated gif files on the bird app… am I missing how to do that here?

I’d like to add alt text “Homemade bread puddin’ with homemade rum sauce whip cream and gelato” to this photo, for example?

The way markdown wants to format images, it looks like this:


Adding a random gif to a post will also show you the markup that’s needed. Then you can use it yourself.
