Are you ready for some football?

Well the first half of this Eagles @ Chiefs MNF game is a pretty good battle :open_mouth:
All I keep thinking is my Bills are gonna have a tough time with both of these teams… Yeesh! :frowning_with_open_mouth:

Can’t believe the Eagles won that game. I had given up and was just listening on the radio, then had to fire the TV back up. When they were down by 3 it felt like they were down several scores… Strangest Eagles season I can remember, I don’t think they have had one game where they didn’t look terrible for at least a full quarter, but they find some way to keep winning.

Okay the Lions are 8-2 for the first time since 1962. Yes, 61 years ago. They finished that year 11-3 but still came in second to the Packers. Here’s hoping they can finally beat that record.

Well, here’s hoping the Lions get their butts kicked in the locker room at least as bad as it’s happening on the field so maybe they’ll at least make a game of it in the second half.

Going for it on 4th and their own 22 was stupid and costly :man_shrugging:
Lions 0-4 on 4th downs… Maybe it’s time to punt or take a couple FGs …
Make that 0-5 :man_facepalming:

Once again the Lions start looking competent in the last five minutes of the game. Too bad they got themselves into such a deep hole the rest of the time.

The Lions hype train was getting silly anyway.

Yeah I made the mistake of thinking they might at least make it to the playoffs for the first time in years. Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment.

I bet they’re a playoff team. They don’t suck.

Here’s a good read on why the Panthers are where they are since the new owner took over…

Also a good choice for turnovers: the entire Vikings offense.

Welp, I have nothing to watch today as my teams played on turkey day.

Seahawks bad, Packers good.

Though Green Bay do have the Lions to thank for some of that. Dumbass coaching decisions and turnovers kept a comeback out of reach (though it was close due to our own dumbassity… going for 2 instead of 1, not going for a FG - time and time again this year I’ve seen my teams and others lose because they got too smart for their own good. Seattle might have had another 3 and ultimately won if they hadn’t gone for a 4th and short last week. TAKE - THE - DAMN - POINTS!) In the end we didn’t need those lost 4, but it got scary near the end.

So, we’ve won 2 in a row and Love’s looking better (though he still can’t seem to hit a guy in stride on the long passes, receivers keep having to stop and come back to it… thankfully that worked out on the first play of the game)

So yeah, that was my football week. Nothing to see today.

So yeah Week 12 football continues…

The Panthers look to be the first team to rack up 10 losses this season :man_facepalming:
Glad I’m not watching the game (nor do I have any plans to watch this abysmal team the rest of this season)

Lane Johnson is out for today’s game, hope the O line can protect Jalen today.

Cold, overcast, rainy day in Philly, doesn’t seem like there is any wind so at least there’s that.

We’ll see if my Bills have a chance against your Eagles…
I’m just not too sure about my team this season :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

The Bills are making a game of this 17-7 at the half :open_mouth:
BUT… The Chiefs were up same score and lost in the 2nd half so the Bills need to learn from this!

Eagles offense looks completely out of sync, but that has happened so many times this season and they pull it together later in the game, we’ll see if they can do it again.

I don’t get these refs and all the penalties against the Bills…
Especially that horse collar tackle and got called for an intentional grounding was ridiculous!

Broncos are busy trying to lose to the Browns.

We actually scored a touchdown though (TWICE!!)
