I’ve only seen two of these. Out of those I picked the most stupid one. Ferris Bueller is weird. The mother falls for the same trick every time. A very weird and ineffective truent officer never once thinks to call and ask what exactly is wrong with her son. Does he have a fever or any symptom other than his word? Could she take her son’s temp and tell him what it is? Maybe even ask for a doctor’s note. Why wait until almost a month’s worth of absences to address suspicion? Then he spends the day doing things that should get him caught.
