In the early days of the pandemic, I happened to catch a panel at the ALA virtual convention for unusual virtual programming ideas and met a fellow librarian who had begun doing virtual riffing events at her library. We hit it off and started co-hosting our own bad movie nights for friends on Discord. The crowd of regulars is small but loyal and we amuse ourselves if nothing else.

We’ve been trying to keep the group sort of compact. My co-host used to stream them on Twitch before it became impossible to put movies on there. I would like to set up something so we could have an audience without tons of people joining in the shouting…
