- Being unable to slam a door on someone because of it has a soft-close mechanism
- Being unable to slam down the phone on someone because your $1200 phone is made of glass and doesn’t work that way

I didn’t read that one because Sphere was the last time I ever picked up a Crichton book. The ending made me so angry.

March was by Geraldine Brooks who thought it was her job to write a dark and stormy backstory to Little Women.
Oh, gods, how sorry I was it was an ebook because I wanted to smash it so bad.
