Here’s one that I’m using in a spy RPG game right now:
Death vs. Bikini Girls (1968)
A group of swimwear models find themselves facing off against the Grim Reaper himself in a series of deadly challenges. Will they survive?
Produced by White Elephant Films, this seems to be a classically schlocky horror with a bunch of airheaded attractive young women who were cast for their looks instead of their acting ability. And this is generally rather true, with British lead Jenny Palgrave standing out as particularly bad. The effects are awful and some camera shots clearly have crowds visible on what is meant to be a deserted hellscape. You can see the strings too.
However, analysts of the slasher movie genre note that this contains a debatable example of a “final girl” long before anyone else did it.
I was thinking, Evil Space Lord creates giant mutant lizard to destroy/conquer Earth. Stoped by orphan boy and a mad scientist, also insert a will then won’t they relationship between the Earth Defense Force Comander and her hot shot top pilot.
After the bomb… Aphids, grown to horrific size from eating irradiated vegetation, plague the landscape. One grizzled farmer must battle against the green scourge to protect his crop, while in a lab under the barn his daughter works to create her own mutant army of giant ladybirds. But will her attempts at semi-natural pest control be perverted when local petrochemical magnate intervenes?
“Stevenson!” Mixing the real-life history of Democratic Presidential candidate Adlai Stevenson with the internet hoax that he was the inspiration for Gogo from Final Fantasy 6. The big scene of the movie? The “October Surprise” is when Eisenhower summons a giant worm via dark magick to swallow Stevenson who then has to escape the belly of the beast so he can get a few more campaign stops in before the election.
