Demon Squad 2: The NEW Kickstarter is LIVE! (updated April 21)

Bachelor of Arts in… Art?

I know that’s a real thing and an accomplishment, it’s just that the repetition of “art” makes it sound like someone is totally lying about their college degree and gave up working on that lie halfway through. “I also went on to get a doctorate in… doctor.”

Next they will say the tooth fairy isn’t real

Not the tooth fairy but this image immediately came to mind

Well, the toaster to Bills face was the image that came to mind but this is close ‘nuf.

When I got mine my wife said I should frame it and hang it on the wall. None of our degrees (some are even in our names!) have ever been in frames. Walls are for cool art, not silly academic achievements.

I asked Thomas, and he said he made it up. Thomas’s name was on the original one in the movie.

Did you run into Peter Graves while you were there?

Liddell was the last name of the girl who inspired Alice in Wonderland… her father was a dean, not at a para-science university but at Oxford.

Okay, that’s really freaking cool. Also, kind of fitting.

Mine was hanging up for a while but it’s been inside the closet in a room I hardly use for the last ten years lol. Doesn’t help that my particular university has been beclowning itself repeatedly for the past several years.

Sadly, it was also not the University of Minnesota. :frowning:

I knew that name seemed so familiar! That’s where I know it from. No Francois though.

My favorite detail: “Non-transferable” Sooo awesome!

I didn’t get a notification about this tag, so very sorry for not responding sooner!

I made it up. I don’t even remember how I got there. I vaguely recall Googling fancy names and I slapped together the two that sounded the best and had a European flair.

Okay that prop update was glorious! Thank you, @FightingOwl for that sneak peek.

As my husband commented, Adam Savage would be all over that. Ingenious.

I, too, was impressed with the prop build. I like seeing how movie magic is made.

It looks amazing and was cool to see the whole process.

Just read the DIY props update and now I want to go make low budget props for indie films more than anything in the world

Chiming in to say the same, loved the update (DYI projects like that, it’s one of the things I love about MST3K - how Joel cobbled together his bots using common, inexpensive items, how the props and costuming people followed suit)

Great job - they look cool and It’ll be fun to see them pop up in the movie.

That’s why I love being in a DIY Mardi Gras Krewe… I get to make silly props and decor all the time.
