Do we need a way of locking threads?

I’ve noticed a few thread that kind of need to… Stop? For instance, there’s a thread about introducing yourself here in the Forums Feedback category. A few confused newbies are using it as a thread to introduce themselves. If the thread could be locked, that’d put an end to it.

In future, feel free to just flag threads when that happens. We can move them between topics and merge them as needed.

I support thread locking as a mod function in every forum I frequent ever, to stop drama and duplicate threads.
