I think of seasons three and four as the golden era of Joel episodes; anyone else?

As a refresher:

You can submit one to three screenshots in comments on each post. Please keep your images at minimum 800px x 600px and 72 dpi. File type does not matter. YES, screenshots of host segments are welcome too!

If you’d ALSO like to throw in a favorite riff, choose one that’s relatively short. Remember to include the timestamp of where it happens in the episode. Ideally the riff should make sense when used in context with the screenshot(s) you’ve chosen. Riffs are optional, though, and if you’d rather just share screenshots, that is fine too.

All of this info will be collected and may be used in the Gizmoplex library! Your contributions are greatly appreciated, even if you can’t participate on every post. There’s zero pressure to do EVERY episode. Whatever you can do will help.

Oh, definitely.

I think Godzilla Vs. Megalon was the first out-and-out masterpiece episode of the series, and then Seasons 3 and 4 continued that trend of excellence.

All in all, I think when the subject comes down to the show’s best season, it would have to be either Season 5 or Season 8. But we can’t get to how superlative Season 5 is without the phenomenal foundation work of Seasons 3 and 4.

Season 3 and 4 are the golden era of the series, for sure. My favorite season overall might be Season 6, though, because I like the variety of movies in that season, and I believe the writing was at its peak.

Oh, man. These five are almost too hard to choose between - I’m going with ‘Cave Dwellers’. Get ready for some skin.

I <3 these films. I feel like every playthrough of ‘Morrowind’ ends with my little videogame dude holding two katanas in woolie undies menacingly and this film. . .sigh It’s a gem.

P.S. - If anyone catches on that I’m not posting these pics in the correct quality/format, please let me know. So far I “feel” like I’ve got this down… which is why I’m worried.
