I’ve found I really can’t sit and watch anything, be it TV shows or movies, for much more than 4 hours. That seems to be my cut-off point. After that time, for me at least, the experience looses all joy, becomes near physically painful, and my brain starts to turn to mush. If a series is short and can manage to fit into that window, sure, I can watch the whole thing. Otherwise odds are it ain’t getting watched in one day.
