Devo’s Shout album has a pretty good cover.
Perhaps the two best bookended album covers ever:
This never seems like it should be the cover for ELP. Just a weird combo, IMO.
How about his collab with Debbie Harry? It went beyond this album cover.
Mr Jukes, the solo project from Bombay Bicycle Club’s Jack Steadman’s upcoming EP “Eternal” is pretty fantastic.
Bombay Bicycle Club’s album covers are fantastic too.
Nick Hakim’s album cover for his album Green Twins, is fantastic too.
John Van Duesen’s (I Am) Origami series of albums art covers are fantastic, I love the format of them.
Nice! The inventive spirit of the covers reminds me of the work on Gazelle Twin’s albums as well. This one particularly speaks to me.
I also very much dig the cassette covers by Spacebomb House Band.
The Firesign Theater has some good album covers.
And that first album cover? Drawn by Phil Hartman. Yes, that Phil Hartman.
Instead of reposting the whole thing, here’s a bunch from Alice Cooper
He had an enviable career right there, and then some comedy.

Man, total slam on Aja out of nowhere in that article. Like it was an anteater or something.
The article also misidentified his role on the Pee-Wee Herman show. He was Captain Carl (also spelled Kap’n Karl).
I read that far and stopped right there. I have no use for any other opinions this writer may choose to share after that display of idiocy.
I’m confused. Are they ranking his album cover designs based on the comedy of them?
I dig it! And I totally see the same spirit
Yeah, the article is kind of useless past the list of covers.
