Wow! Poor Eddie! He was awesome in Laserblast but also had (imo) an iconic role in War Games. “But Jim, you’re giving away our best tricks!”. Love that dude. If I was in a nursing home and he came in, I would hang out with him!

Yeah, he’s been acting really erratically in a dangerous way for quite some time now. I’m not surprised. Sad, but probably for the best.
