Think BIG, eh? Someday, in the not too distant future, there will be a real moonbase on the actual moon. There will almost certainly be a theater there in some form. It might hold less than 5 people at a time, but a premiere of a MST3k episode in such a theater would be a grand feat worth celebrating.

There is a certain irony here for me. I am now realizing that while I have ordered the Blu-Ray disks, I no longer have a Blu-ray player to actually watch them on.

Even more ironic, I realized now that I didn’t even have a Blu-Ray player when I pledged either.

I don’t work for Alternaversal or anything, but I’d be absolutely shocked if Season 14 was being delayed because of Kickstarter rewards. Wouldn’t even be surprised to find out that they already have Season 14 written.

Here’s what I don’t get: why do they keep overcomplicating these Kickstarter campaigns by offering loads of physical merchandise that they clearly CANNOT manage?

Wouldn’t it make loads more sense to offer ONLY digital rewards, and if people actually WANT merch, they’ll just pay for it?

Why offer physical rewards? Because people will pay for physical rewards. I know my initial backer amount was bumped for something tangible, I’m positive I’m not the only one. If you want a digital-only tier, great! I’m sure there will be one. Other people want a physical reminder of the event.

We have no evidence that the next season was delayed solely because of rewards delays. In case you haven’t heard, there is a writer’s and actor’s strike happening right now. We wouldn’t be getting anything anyway.
