I have started a campaign to get MST3K: The Movie entered into the Library of Congress Film Preservation list.
The process is very easy; you can nominate up to 50 movies, but we all know we only need one.

Good news!

The 1870 act centralized copyright registration and deposits in the Library of Congress, requiring the submission of two copies of copyrighted works.

The Library of Congress holds on hand at least two copies of every work copyrighted in the United States! We’re already there, baby!

That’s not exactly true, but I can’t remember what the explanation was (I heard it from my family who visited the Library of Congress).
