Yeah my parents said reading comics was a waste of time. But now I can complain about 50% of everything that comes out of Hollywood endlessly on online forums.

My mother told me not to sit so close to the tv or I would go blind. well now I have an 85 inch tv in a small room and I can still see. SO THERE!!!.. She also told me to stop doing this other thing or I would go blind, but I am 55 and barely need reading glasses, so I think she was wrong on that one too.

I own six dodge balls. Growing up, it never occurred to me that dodge balls could be found outside of a school gym.
And yes, I have thrown dodge balls inside my house.
