Nature photography: show us your best pics

If you’re the type to spend half your vacation peering through a camera lens, come share your work with us here! Landscapes, plants, great sweeping vistas or macro photography.

There is already a separate thread for wildlife photography, so if your picture includes our feathered, scaled, or furry friends, please post it there. (There’s also a thread for pets.) This thread is for general nature photos. Here are some examples to get started.

I have a whole folder of sunrises and sunsets. Here’s my favorite so far (over the Wisconsin River).

And I’m still stunned I got this one out my front door.

If I wasn’t in Night Sight mode on my Google Pixel, I wouldn’t have gotten it, either.

If you like waterfalls, and Minnesota, drive north (okay a ways north) to Duluth and drive along the Seven Bridges Road. Stunning waterfalls and scenery.
