For sure - I’ve read several of the translated comics, enjoyed (and own, sans riffing) the original movie. Don’t know if this will have the same magic but yeah, I’ll watch it

The music is very important to this kind of film, so I’m hoping they’ve got that right. All the better if it’s funky as well.

I’m kinda digging it. There’s the usual modern action movie tics that all movies now have to have, but there’s a clean polish to it (and some groovy warm 60’s lighting) and it feels a lot closer to the original comics.
But it better have a version of “Deep Down” or we riot.

Hmm… I wonder what a Guy Ritchie-directed version would be like? He can be hit and miss (King Arthur: Legend of the Sword (2017) — what was he thinking?), but I thought his The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (2015) was a fabulous period piece and origin story for the original TV series.
