NEW terrible movies

Just saw the trailer for this - they’re obviously trying to make a terrible, cheesy movie - but it looks like it could be fun…

I couldn’t find who posted this first, but it looks bad and not in a good way

You can tell what side they’re on by the color of their underwear. Pink bra vs blue bra.

SRS Cinema appears to be in the business of making a movie for super ultra cheap, then releasing it on recordable Blu-Ray for extremely limited runs. Which, whatever business model works for them, but it seems to encourage making disposable movies.

They definitely have a favorite animal. Some other projects from SRS Cinema include Nanoshark, House Shark, Puppet Shark and Sharks of the Corn. Puppet Shark might actually be fun, I’m thinking, although of course probably not suitable for MST3K.

They also tend to go out with a pun and a prayer, they made Jurassic Shark and Raiders of the Lost Shark.

Movies that are trying to be terrible, or seek to emulate bad movies, are always a iffy proposition. Attack of the Killer Tomatoes is arguably among the best of them, but it’s hard to make it all the way through it.

Edit: Ah. Amityville Death Toilet.

"Bad CGI Gator. " It’s supposed to be funny. Maybe it will be, maybe it won’t be.

Ah, it was only a matter of time really. Where can we even go from here? Just make your movie entirely in Source Filmmaker? Cast from out of your Sims neighborhood?

I’ve seen it. It’s in the upper echelon of SRS Cinema releases, which is… not saying a lot.

It knows exactly what kind of movie it is. It’s certainly riffable but might be a little self-aware.

I have the idea to make a move entirely from as much stock footage as possible. About 35% of A Talking Cat appears to be stock footage. I figure a good editor could stretch a movie to 40%. But if we shoot actors on green screen it could be much more.

I mean, based on the jokes they chose to highlight, the latter.

That actually came out a decade ago. I know this since I recall reading about an unofficial Killer Shrews sequel back in the day. Yes, I’m old. Why you ask?

Full Moon made this, huh? I’d say “How the mighty have fallen” but that’s putting them on too high of a pedestal.
