Oh Unicode, that rascal. Meant to unify character encoding for reliability and consistency but, in its 30+ years, all that’s consistent is its first handful of code points and a bunch of folks branching off into their own standards.

And since the “note” in ASCII is a glyph returned on a non-print action, the only reliable note that rasters the same way for everybody is probably o/~. Three keystrokes?!
