On the Hunt for the MST3K CD-ROM

MST3K Wiki says: "The Mystery Science Theater 3000 CD-ROM is an unreleased product planned for spring of 1996. It was to be produced by The Voyager Company and was only partially completed. Production apparently took place between Season 6 and Season 7. It was overseen by Trace Beaulieu.

A short promotional spot for the CD-ROM was broadcast during Turkey Day '95.

The CD-ROM was intended to contain two industrial shorts, Assignment: Venezuela and What’s It to You?, as well as a “flight simulator” and some other material.

A rough cut of Assignment: Venezuela was screened for a live audience at ConventioCon ExpoFest-A-Rama 2: Electric Boogaloo and was later released on VHS by Best Brains as a part of Assignment: Venezuela and Other Shorts, which was also included as a special feature on the DVD for Episode #407 in the Volume 7 (Rhino) and Volume VII (Shout!) collections.

The master tape of What’s It to You? was reportedly misplaced in the Best Brains offices, and has yet to surface. It is considered a “lost” short."

What What’s It To You should’ve had looked like. (Sorry for using Jonah)

Is that the Mylar short? Or was there another one?

That one’s the Mylar short.

I wish that one would surface, just because they had a couple of callbacks to it in later seasons.

What if a fan suddenly finds a tape of What’s It To You while touring Consolidated Puppets Incorporated (aka Best Brains)?

Then they need to make a fortune selling the time machine they used to get to Eden Prairie circa 1995, because none of this actually exists in our time and space.
