I got it in one, though I felt like two and three tried to throw me off.
Definitely see this one. This is in most people’s top 10.
I will! I am more inclined to watch color movies because it is a frequent indication of modernity. What season is this one?
Season 8, Episode 21.
It’s one of those “it’s actually pretty good when you consider what they had to work with” movies.
I was thinking City Limits or Warrior of the Lost World on Frame 1, but Frame 4 proved I was wrong. Who am I kidding? I never went to Castleton.
You know, it’s funny that @mittens prefers color episodes. One of my few major disappointments about seasons 11-13 (Season 13 anyway) is how few black and white episodes there were.
Wasn’t that a deliberate choice to sway new viewers?
Yes, but I still found it disappointing.
It’s weird how many people flat out refuse to watch black and white movies. And that so many of them consider themselves film buffs!
That’s a shame. To quote Mr. B Natural, “They’re members of my family, boy! I love 'em all!”

Hollywood After Dark (The Film Crew - link)
Lured by the bright lights of Hollywood, a young actress ends up falling for a guy who works at the junkyard and stripping at a sleazy joint. Drama ensues. Young actress turns out to be Blanche from The Golden Girls.
Frame 1: Doesn’t that one with Blanche from The Golden Girls have a scene under a pier?
Frame 2: Doesn’t that one with Blanche from The Golden Girls have a creepy tool shed?
Frame 3: Doesn’t that one with Blanche from The Golden Girls have some sweaty, unappealing men?
Frame 4: Doesn’t that one with Blanche from The Golden Girls have some gratuitious strip tease dancing?
Frame 5: Doesn’t that one with Blanche from The Golden Girls take place in Hollywood?
Frame 6: Doesn’t that one with Blanche from The Golden Girls have Blance from The Golden Girls?
Frame 1 again! My second favorite Film Crew (first is Wild Women of Wongo). Such a bleak film, it feels like it should be a Coleman Francis movie, but there’s somehow also an optimism to it. Hopeless optimism, but still. I dig it.
I was 75% sure at Frame 1 and 100% at Frame 2. And doesn’t that guy look like a young Bill Murray?
In 1 as well, and I’m amazed as I haven’t watched a Film Crew in a long time - but I do recall that guy being on the receiving end of some of the better riffs
Bonus round: Just absolutely nothin’
OMFG! Got a bonus, at #1!!!
Frame 1 last Tuesday with The Projected Man.
Frame 1 today with Time Chasers.
Then I played the bonus round…and whiffed. Why oh why do I play the bonus rounds?
Frame 1: That scrawniness can only mean one thing: there’s a cabaña with a semi-naked Rue McClanahan inside nearby.
