RiffTrax

I think I’ve found a tiny flaw in an otherwise perfect film. In Birdemic, it is clearly established that Natalie has her own apartment, and Rod owns his own home. But when they sleep together the first time, it’s at a cheap motel. Why?

I watched Nightwish last night. Fairly generic direct-to-video horror movie you might have picked up in Blockbuster back in the day (and trying way too hard to be a mindscrew movie), but the riffs are pretty good. Even better, there’s a Discworld riff!

I’ve blissfully lived my life having never considered this, and now I can never un-know it. Truly, a tiny flaw in an otherwise perfect film.

To quote Michael Scott:

“ Because a motel is dirty and it is sexy like me and like Donna! And frankly, the stuff that we’re into is not very condo appropriate.”

I would assume it was cheaper to film or they got away with having a permit.

It was completely story driven: Natalie uses those puffy coat hangers, which everybody knows are useless against birds, and Rod just hangs his clothes all over the Bowflex he’s still paying off.

Okay, Buffalo Rider is on, and I am laughing out loud at poor Bandit’s misfortune!

This is one of my favorites.

It’s another holiday weekend—time to buy all that stuff sitting in your shopping cart.
