She did post on Facebook something like “You’ll never guess who the special guest is.” That seems like a good sign.

It’s unfortunate that John Reynolds passed away before the film was rediscovered. He’d be a legend at conventions.

He reportedly committed suicide very shortly after the film finished production (which of course led to a bunch of tasteless jokes about how it must have been shame about the movie, which thankfully mostly stopped when we learned more about his terrible childhood and drug addictions).
