One of my favorite box sets, it helped get me through the lockdown. Unfortunately… Frank’s commentary was, well… a bit disappointing.

I’m not the biggest fan of Bud and Lou. I think if I watched 28 Abbott and Costello films I might have used the word “fought”, too.

And that set doesn’t include everything they filmed, there are 36 theatrical features in total.
I whipped up a list after finishing with the set and the other movies and such (because that’s what I do) if anyone’s interesting in the filmography listed in order of release.

Download arrived.
I watched just a bit of it (saving it for later) to see how it looked/felt without the additional material, and it was weird to just go into it without seeing the guys and Chris and the intro. But I get why, and I’ll get used to it (and I can still watch that material, so it’s not like its gone)
Got a laugh out of what little I heard, so I can’t wait to settle in and enjoy the rest.

I’ve been editing the downloads down to just the movie because I rarely want to see the surrounding material after the livestream, so this saves me that trouble.

Teenage Zombies has some of their best recent riffing, IMHO.
I’ve already forgotten whether any of the teens actually became zombies. I mean, their acting chops wouldn’t really have been up to that level, would they?
Also, was that Batwoman as the main villain? If so, she’s ironically LESS zombie-ish here than in the other Warren epic.
