Are you ready for some football?
Woo, Packers! Go Packers!
I don’t think you’re ready for some football.
On the right we have me, rolling up to this thread, having forgotten what day it is but knowing exactly what the question will be:
This is how you get ready!
I’d organize a Superdome watch-a-long for we who only like football without football in it… except, I’m really not very organized.
MR_Potroast will be at the neighbors’ house doing it up in style with locally sourced buffalo wings and all the trimmings. I’ll just be contentedly puttering with a new picture and listening to Jazz… pretty much my ideal Sunday in wintertime.
The NY Mets are my favourite squadron.
Me and my pack are ready…
I’m just waiting for the Superb Owl to make an appearance.
Better than waiting on the Super Bowel, I guess.
I give this special 2 and a half stars.
Can’t we just get Beyond the Super Bowl?
After-all… The Daytona 500 is next Sunday!
(Dies of envy.)
I have no craps to spare for the , but I had been planning to hang out with family and observe the great American tradition of fat, salt, and carbs. I was planning to stuff potatoes and cheese into phyllo dough! And then (blah blah stomach virus) and it’s all ginger tea and white rice and appropriate social distancing.
Just like the crowd, I am going wild.
Yay
As I always reiterate this time of year:
(if) #Beethoven (weren’t already dead this certainly would’ve finished the job)
I love PDQ Bach
It’s sad that Peter Schickele/PDQ Bach is pretty much forgotten now. I always thought it was very funny. In an MST3K connection, Schickele also did the music for Silent Running, which inspired a certain Mr. Joel Hodgson to create a backstory about a guy and some robots trapped in space.
