I got my highest score ever (7) on Adverswordle by sheer luck, and the advantage that comes from it being a computer with no apparent knowledge of what an actual person might reasonably guess:

Yeah, this kind of confirms my theory.
It’s playing Wordle “hard-mode”, so the trick is to force it into a situation where it just can’t get very much information because it’s already guessed 3-4 of the letters right. Ideally, you could corral it into a situation where it knew all but one letter, and that letter could be any letter of the alphabet. (I don’t believe such a word exists but, it would be done for at that point.)
