By the time I got to this
It was too late to do my “guess a word with all the possible final letters in it” process of elimination. So I ran out 
off-off-topic, I just know they’re going to say this isn’t a word.

I haven’t missed a Wordle all year, not since I first heard about it in December.
My secret is: I cheat. I may have mentioned it elsewhere but I thought it would be more fun to write a program to figure out the answer than to try to guess it myself.
Someone mentioned “hard mode” earlier upstream and I think a strategy there would be: guess the least common letters. That is, if you wanted to always win versus get the lowest number of guesses.
There are a number of situations where you can have four letters in the right place and still have, like, a dozen words left.

I hadn’t ever missed until this one about a week ago.
I don’t have the game set for hard mode, but I essentially play that way.
