Gamera is a turtle. A titanic fire-breathing turtle that flies by shooting fire out of his leg holes. Sometimes he flies like a frisbee! In space! Dancing go-go!
If I was tasked with writing a Gamera story, I imagine I’d enrage several somebodies, because wtf do you do with that?
Do you go dark? With yr flying turtle? Fiend to all children? Are there bounds to the allowable absurdity in a story about Humongous Flaming Mitch McConnell? I don’t know.

The only acceptable thing to do is go full Cornjob, but I don’t know why this is an anime. The other only acceptable part of writing a Gamera story is making sure there are guys in rubber suits. No guys in rubber suits, no bueno.
