Tubi TV is now available in the UK again!

Just a heads-up, as I saw it as a recommended service on my Chromecast and thought “Hey, don’t I normally need a VPN set to the USA to watch Tubi? And I don’t have a VPN on my Chromecast.” So I installed it and… it works!

Can MSTies in any countries other than the USA and the UK try visiting https://tubitv.com/home and reporting back if the availability’s even more widespread? It would be worth knowing.

Tubi has quite a few MST3K and RiffTrax titles, plus it is a repository of the good and the good-bad (and plenty of bad-bad too) of cinema and TV.

Mind you, it looks like the catsalogue’s a bit smaller with the UK version, but that’s the licensing labyrinth for you.

Yeah, I had a look and didn’t see anything that really caught my eye that I don’t already have access to elsewhere. Still, nice to have another streaming option.

Hmm… the titles that had initially disappeared from my watchlist have now reappeared, so maybe the catalogue’s not been restricted as I first thought.
The full list of genres has also been restored. Odd, but welcome.

FWIW, I’ve had similar issues with the US version of Tubi, at least in a browser. Sometimes the next page of offerings in a category will just fail to load and it’ll look like that section is suddenly much shorter. A refresh usually fixes it but only if I realize I haven’t seen nearly everything.

I’ve had that occasionally, but this lasted longer and a refresh didn’t work. Anyhoo, it works now.
All five of Amir “Samurai Cop” Shervan’s American movies are back, as are a few of Len Kabasinski’s.
