Got back last night from Mackinaw city, from doing the Bridge Walk! Found a nice little state park about a half hour south of the bridge to stay at overnight, got up early to walk the bridge, and then had to get home in time for classes to start today.
My family used to do the bridge walk every year, but then 2020 happened, and this was my first year back at it. Probably won’t be able to go again for a few years, since I’m hoping to get a job next summer that will require me to work labor day, but it was fun to go visit all the little shops I remember and get some souvenirs. Nice to find some happy childhood memories still intact. Plus, the weather was pretty okay, and the clouds were just magnificent on the drive there and back!
