Mine is probably Dark Side of the Filth, but I’m also quite partial to Slippery When Rat.
Oh, I like his Greatest Hits of the Renaissance*
*filth
Rats of Innocence.
I’m partial to Filthy Abbey Road or maybe his groundbreaking A Rat at the Opera.
Songs in the Key of Filth, clearly.
Introducing the Hard Line According to Terence Trent F’Ilthy is way underrated.
I remember the exercise craze Smolken To The Oldies.
Trout Mask Repli-CORPSE
It’s a difficult choice, but I think Dead Zeppelin III is superior to I and II.
Digger’s released a Fiona Apple tribute, called (deep breath) When the Rat hits the Coffin he thinks like a Corpse what he knows throws the Buboes when he goes to the Filth and he’ll win the dead Thing 'fore he enters the Dirt there’s no Corpse to batter when your Morgue is your Grave so when you rot solo, you hold your severd hand and remember that Filth is the gravest of Delights and if you know where you stand, then you know which grave to land in and if you fall it won’t matter, cuz you’ll know that you rot
I like his New Wave period, especially Girls Just Want To Have Funerals.
I Want Coffins is his lesser known bubble gum pop hit.
Why is the world in love again?
Why are we marching hand in hand?
Why are the ocean levels rising up?
It’s a brand new record for 1990
Digger Smolken’s brand new album “Filth”
It’s a little known fact that Digger Smolken founded the original Rat Pack back in 1553. Though it was just Smolken and several actual rats.
Still, Sinatra blatantly plagiarized several of his best albums including Songs for Swingin’ Corpses, Come Die With Me, Strangers in the Filth, Frankly Excremental, That’s Death, and of course, Ol’ Blue Flies Is Back.
He has so many great albums with so many great songs. If you’re new to his art and are looking to go deeper, his Greatest Hits album is a great place to start.
*Greatest Rat Filth Hits
I was thinking Greatest Pits.
Year Of The Rat was a monster hit, and a respectable album though there are others I like better.
“On a morning from a FILTHY movie
In a COFFIN where they turn back CORPSE…”
