I have always been curious about the MST3K community and what other things you identify with. The MST3K Fandom was the first thing I connected with way back in the early 90s.
For me, I am a cisgender, white old Goth lady (50s) that marries anywhere between the 20s to early 60s in my clothing choices and how I decorate my household.
My music is anywhere from the 1920s to today. I am most definitely GLBTQA+. I don’t think you have to be religious to be a good person even though I align to Quakerism.
My only friendship qualifications is that can’t be an intolerant ass.
I think there’s a lot of Misfit Toys in this fandom. That’s one of the things I adore about this group. I found the MST3K community and immediately felt at home.
I would love to hear from other refugees of the Island of Misfit Toys.
I am the terror that flaps in the night! I am the tomato stain on your best shirt. I am… an unapologetic weirdo with a house full of toys and random interesting crap, a huge LGBTQ ally, and have withdrawn from so many fandoms over the last decade or so due to increasing levels of awfulness. Thankfully MSTies are good folk who embrace weirdness and fun, so I feel right at home here.
I’m a cisgender 40 year old Caucasian male, a fan of comic books, movies, video games and while I try to keep my mind open to all forms of music, generally the taste is 60s-70s rock (particularly Beatles, Bowie, Queen, T-Rex and Devo) and for modern stuff, alt rock and pop (the Bird and the Bee, Gorillaz, The Flaming Lips).
I work as a preschool and afterschool worker and am currently single.
My name is Matthew. I’ve come from lands far and wide, between Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, and Kentucky. Indiana… That is where I am from. I love the classics, like Edgar Allan Poe and Robocop.
