Having eaten some pizza earlier tonight, it was nice to see one of my favorite Joel inventions.
I’ve always wanted one. Love MST and Star Trek.
Also, I love in the segment when Joel refers to the theater as “The Mystery Science Theater.”

It’s kinda weird and interesting that that’s the only time we’d hear the theater referred to as the Mystery Science Theater in the classic era.
And the Wild Rebels Cereal host segment is an all-time classic, that.

I have to wonder if the writers felt it was redundant dialogue. I love the idea of it being called The Mystery Science Theater.

Might be the case, entirely plausible.
But yeah, I liked that the theater had a name, that it wasn’t just the theater.

“Mystery Science”, I think, was a name Joel used for stuff he did or maybe it was the name of a company he had with his brother or somesuch.

When Joel went on Letterman, he mentioned a “Mystery Science Lab 2000” in his act.
