Well, since I do plan on rewatching Robot Wars, and plan to probably never watch Atlantic Rim again, you can tell how my vote went.
Both teams are helmed by appalling douchebros, and both scripts are written by man-children who don’t understand women and who think ethnicities are the same thing as D&D character classes. But at least Robot Wars has that late-80s vibe of this kind of culture dying, whereas Atlantic Rim has the mid-00s aggro of desperately trying to bring this crap back.
So who do I want all up in my robot jock?

Ugh. Atlantic Rim had better actual robots — and actual real robot fighting — but Robot Wars had better interior sets.
Robot Wars had a script — as stupid as it is — whereas it seemed like Atlantic Rim just ad-libbed a majority of it.
…oh, you’re asking about which characters are worse! Well, they’re all terrible.
