writing a Beatniks musical

Folks, just wanted to mention that off and on now for the last decade I’ve been working on a musical version of Paul Frees’ The Beatniks, and it’ll be ready this summer. I have the support of the Frees estate and it’s a bit different from the film and Finally (I think) corrects the main problem: why are there no beatniks in this?? Of course I solved it in a different way than you’d expect. You’ll see!
