ROONEY!

Rooney’s awful laugh at his own joke

Or the “mannequin challenge” riff

Hopefully, Barbara Crampton punching Drake in the face.

It worked for Stranded in Space!

I vote for Leda / Barbara Crampton’s completely unbelievable “way to go, Loverboy” line near the end.

I’m voting for this as many times as they’ll let me pull the lever.

I’m thinking “Remember the Alamo!”

Watching that in light of a recent event at the Oscars is interesting.

“Have a worm in it?”
“No.”
“Forget it.”

Something from the embarkation building.

The robot elevator set is back!

Plunkett, acting on the audience’s behalf, heaves himself out the escape hatch even if it will kill him.

Drake getting punched. For a little satisfaction at the end.

For a physical violence stinger, definitely Drake getting slugged by Leda. For a WTF dialogue stinger, I’d go with Plunkett proclaiming, “Long term storage of hazardous materials can be safe. And fun.”

“…And fun!” was truly one of those moments when the movie riffs itself.

If it’s not when they raise Sato on the communicator and him cackling and saying “peekaboo, I kill you!” someone needs to be fired and executed. I lost it at that one.

At around 1:23:30 (in the rough cut version), in the reviving of the secretly stored mega robot scene, Drake, in a tight close-up, says “Watch this baby dance” and then does some truly freaky acting with his upper lip. That would be perfect.

And the winner is…“I think you need to be spanked” followed by a punch

It was the right choice.
