We referred to hijacking as “chartered accountancy,” and to Tim as “Hortense,” but it’s otherwise pretty easy to follow.

Hi Kelsey!
As someone who loves Crow, I will say your riffing and timing were great. I have one minor constructive criticism: as someone with somewhat mild hearing issues, your voice is really close to Emily’s. I ended up watching the corner a lot to see who was talking. My husband also has some hearing issues and had the same problem.
I wish Nate well also. I met him twice. Once in March 2020, right before the world shut down, and once in October of 2021. We were allowed onstage in 2020 and when Yvonne said that she liked my bots shirt, I thanked her and told her I loved all of the bots but was always partial to Crow. Didn’t notice until later that in the photo, he has Crow looking at me, mouth open like I paid him the best compliment ever. So I have a bit if a soft spot for him.

And yet, during the Q&A, Kelsey said she used that voice to differentiate her from Emily. And some folks are complaining that Kelsey’s voice is too cartoony, but nothing about Emily’s being that way?
I’m an old timer and my hearings not so hot (I often have to wear headphones for movies and such) but I was able to tell the difference quite easily.
No disrespect intended Funky-Rat, it’s just curious all the differing opinions. It’s too different, it’s too much the same, it’s fantastic, it’s yuk… if you tried to please us all you’d go crazy.
Personally, I think you’re a delight Kelsey.

I’m subscribing to the belief that I’ll learn to love it it rather than plead for some kind of change. I’m hoping others will do the same, because you’re right, everyone has a different opinion. I put all my faith in the MST3K crew, which they’ve earned, and Kelsey Ann Brady is clearly very talented.

At first, I thought it was actually Emily voicing Crow in addition, and trying to make a different voice.
I’ve watched Beyond Atlantis twice , and knowing now that @OneBradyLady is providing Crow’s voice, I’m less focused on the timbre of the voice and more on the jokes and riffs — and those are stellar. The casino scene where the cops raid the place: the way Kelsey delivered “the constabulary!” slays me.
