My final ruling on Parts is that skipping those damn host segments really cuts down on the pain of getting through the episode. I mean, yeah Richard’s a gloomy gus but watching him in the scene at “clone daddy’s” house in particular makes me think he’s not portrayed by the worst actor in the world. Tim Donnelly was a TV guy in a movie is all, and the script itself didn’t offer him much range of emotion to show to an audience. I think I’ve been too hard on him all these years. (R.I.P., Tim.)
