KTMA 9. Phase IV (1974)

About the only woman in this story is (presumably) a teenager who ends up, uh… mated with the hero at story’s end, and she’s borderline inarticulate and does little but wander around, uh… bug-eyed and inexplicably English, sans bra, and in a shirt that doesn’t fit. lol. I don’t know if this is more irritating and condescending than, say, the screamy, obnoxious, marriage-obsessed cutlotted “science” ladies in King Dinosaur. But it’s definitely both those things and it and interferes with my interest in the film every time.

Oh, and I just realized she was also dewy-eyed and darling and utterly bland in The Amazing Mr. Blunden, a movie that’s part of my Dream Season for riffing. lol. Shoulda’ noticed that sooner but there’s that whole instant forgettability thing. :person_shrugging:
