I am delighted to see the new episodes of MST3K in the Gizmoplex, but am wondering if anyone else thinks that there are a lot of missed opportunities for good riffs. Have the showrunners decided to thin out the riffs? The 11th season was so riff rich that it got a bit annoying. Now there seems to be a lot of open space where there could be some serious riffs, but we get nothing. That makes me concentrate on the movie and those movies don’t deserve any concentration. Just curious, but has this been a conscience effort to reduce the number of quips? I still love the show!

They’re there so they have some place to add new riffs when the cast does another zoom call watch party.
