MST movies that you genuinely like

Albert Pyun’s Alien from L.A. is one I liked a lot–even moreso after I saw it unriffed years later. Its ambitions well exceeded its budget, which made it riffable, but it never tried to play it safe with the weird underground world it created. And it openly acknowledged (and had a sense of humor about) Kathy Ireland’s squeaky voice.

(There was also a sort of-sequel in 1988, Journey to the Center of the Earth, though Kathy Ireland’s involvement was either limited or recycled from Alien from LA. Apparently it started as a straight modernized adaptation of Verne’s story, financing fell through, and it got handed to Pyun, who made the second half of the film into a sequel, albeit one that didn’t really end so much as run out of money again. It’s on Tubi if anyone wants to check it out.)
