Oh is there? I know the original Wordle just stuck them in an array. If you went into the source code you could cheat and look at every word that could possibly be correct.

Conceptually, sure. If you want the best score, you’d change your word to give the least information for every guess (without putting yourself in a position where no words fit.) My best scores so far though have all come from picking a word with a multiple letters (the same thing that gets humans when guessing).
Hmmm. Thinking about it, I think it uses the letters in their known places. So, for example, if you could guide it toward “_unny”, you could make it go through all the possibilities. (Assuming it hadn’t eliminated all the letters already.)
