THEY RUINED THE FRANCHISE! They just brought in a whole bunch of clowns who didn’t understand and respect the ACU (Amazing Colossal Universe) and just made up a bunch of crap so they could cash in without ever considering what made us love Lieutenant Colonel Glen Manning in the first place!!1!1!!2!!

This episode introduced me to another behind-the-scenes industry term, like extras shouting: “Rhubarb!” in crowd scenes: when they’re in the airplane hangar, Crow blurts out: “Hey, check out Mr Stage Business over there!” at an extra that was furiously fiddling with a bunch of props for no discernable reason.

I’m so glad after this season they figure out that lip-smacking, food-slurping, and dog-panting noises are not actually comedy.
