Never Made A Good Movie

Their movies are like a bastardized Zucker, Abraham and Zucker concept as told by a pair of 14 year old boys who hit each other in the head for fun.

I rather liked Blackwoods. Yes, it’s shamelessly derivative but the atmosphere carried it. I see on IMDB it’s actually listed near the bottom of his work but…:man_shrugging:

No, I think that’s objectively true of Lars von Trier films, and even people who like them would agree.

Melancholia is kind of amazing in its narcissism.

I was about to say Renny Harlin, but then I remembered Die Hard II (while not as good as the first or the third, is still a movie I will absolutely sit the hell down and watch if it’s on) and The Long Kiss Good Night. Hmm… The two Renny Harlin movies that anyone talks about are both Christmas films…

I feel the same way about Wes Anderson. He’s just Michael Bay for hipsters.

Hey, Ghostly Obsessions might be a masterpiece, and as long as no one ever sees it, there’s no way to challenge that assertion.
