One of the things that is so amazing isn’t the image, but the fact that the pillar “arms” are 4-5 light years in length!

I saw that today at the conference. We were all gathered around one of the sponsor stations and geeking out about them. In fact, the Digistar rep quickly made a little program where he had the Spitzer image and then had the James Webb image superimposed over it. Soooooo cool!

FYI - about a year ago right after the deployment of the mirrors etc, I changed the title of this thread to the “Six Months Waiting…” etc etc and I don’t have the power anymore to change it - any who does feel free to update with a new timelier title! :slight_smile:
