So if you look at this thread. you have just replied three times. It doesn’t matter if it is to a specific person or not. You’ve made three comments in a row and the Discourse software only allows three comments before it forces you to wait for someone else to say something.
As for your backer flair, if you don’t have it (there should be a drop-down menu on your profile where you can select it) if you don’t have it as a choice, you can take a look at this thread for more info on how to contact someone to have it added:

To your last comment, what we are saying is this is not a bug, it is an embedded piece of Discourse software to prevent thread hijacking. No one has talked down to you here, but your attitude is more than a little defenseive toward people who are trying to help.
