I know it’s long after the show, but I’d be happy to stare at some Canadian currency with this guy on it:
Members of the Degrassi franchise. I watched The Kids of Degrassi Street (when it was on Nickelodeon’s Special Delivery), Degrassi (Junior) High (when it was on PBS and later Showtime), and, when I was probably too old for it, the first several years of Degrassi: The Next Generation. What can I say: I’m a fan of low-budget (at least compared to shows in the States) teen drama.
THE HOUSE HIPPO! You never have to worry about leaving crumbs from your peanut butter toast as long as you have some of them living in your closet!
And PJ Phil and Snit were a staple in my after-school TV diet! Ah, nostalgia.

but in all seriousness, I’d use it to honour great Canadian talents who past on: Gord Downie, Leonard Cohen, Neil Peart, Leslie Nielsen, Phil Harman, Norm McDonald, Foster Hewitt, Danny Gallivan, Howie Meeker & plenty others to choose from.
