While The Bar from The Killer Shrews is probably the better character, The Car Chase from The Batwoman shows more range. It’s one Rockford Turn and a fruit cart crash away from perfection.

I would have thought Prof Cruikshank from Munchie would make a good recurring character, maybe for Connor?
I agree with above about Mrs Kelly, and I could see Eastside Eddie popping up from time to time.
If we wanted to cut a bit more deep we could have Kelsey Mia Farrowed up as an aloof harbinger of doom anytime something bad’s about to happen to the mad’s base.

I only just noticed that Steven Franken was Cap’n. Santa’s good right LEFT arm in Stranded In Space !! 
And also way back when: he has a role in The Space Travelers though I can’t remember actually seeing him.
