Another Easter tradition in our house…
“…So be careful when you tell yourself a story
It’s better not to tell yourself a lie.
Life is full of wonder, there is glory
You don’t have to wait until you die.”
Hearts of gold were made to touch the sky."
Gets me every damn time.
One of my favorite Alice Cooper albums, and this song I’ve had on repeat for a spell. Play it again, and again…
I’ve been listening to this track quite a bit since Kidd Jordan’s passing last week. It’s a great tune to wake up to and get yourself moving in the morning.
That was a remarkably fun version. Wasn’t sure what to expect with Tiny Tim. Or Brave Combo, for that matter.
I still can’t get this right.
I have a lot of Bird heads, and am almost to playing and naming anywhere on the fretboard, but I can’t get this one down.
But I’m still listening to it!
/* nope. still can’t get it.
Still listening, though. */
This one’s going out to a very special lady who’s made my work week extra memorable.
As I was goin’ over the Cork and Kerry mountains,
I ran into that Katie… on my last nerve she was pouncin’…
Oh no, Katie’s tendrils are spreading into other threads!
I mean I guess technically they’re pseudopods, aren’t they? Like, protoplasmic extrusions, or whatever that stuff is. Nether horror bile?
Let the choir sing.
I’m in an impossibly euphoric state with anxiety’s grip being the weakest it’s been on me in many years, so… They Might Be Giants, it is.
And now I’m following that up with an ELO chaser.
Sirius XM 90s on 9 Back in the Day Replay top 30 (April 1993)
last week, he messed around and got a triple-double
