You know, it makes sense, cap-wise, next year you have all these early draft picks, and you’ll have all that cap space. Your throwing 2022 away (unless Geno or Drew Lock pull a Vikings era Case Keenum out of their hats), but honestly, even with Baker, would they have been a Superbowl caliber team? I think it’s wiser to use your assets and reload in 2023.
Best of luck to Baker. Hopefully the trade will help him out and he can continue to be successful in his career.

Yeah, we shall see how everything plays out. However, I hope the Browns pound sand at this point. Giving Watson a fully guaranteed contract considering all of the legal issues he has still in front of him. Well, as the old saying goes “a fool and his money are soon parted.”
